We “From Basel with Love” are a small association based in Basel.

As we are helping weekly families in Ukraine that lost their houses and have no access to humanitarian aid, we understand their real needs.

In order to transport all the goods, we are paying for transport and packing.

We collect, buy and transport to Ukraine all the items: clothes, shoes, duvets, pillows, kitchen items and everything that each family requests on the phone.

One Year Behind - From Basel With Love

The War in Ukraine

The Russo-Ukrainian War is an ongoing international conflict between Russia, alongside Russian-backed separatists, and Ukraine, which began in February 2014. Russia annexed Crimea from Ukraine and supported pro-Russian separatists fighting the Ukrainian military in the Donbas war.

The first eight years of conflict also included naval incidents, cyberwarfare, and increased political tensions.

In February 2022, Russia launched a full-scale invasion of Ukraine.

Casualties in the Russo-Ukrainian War included six deaths during the 2014 annexation of Crimea by the Russian Federation, 14,200–14,400 military and civilian deaths during the war in Donbas (2014–2022), and tens of thousands of deaths during the 2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine.

The war has been devastating for families. We provide support for those in need.
