How You Can Help

From Basel with Love is a small, hands-on charity. We rely on a few dedicated people and generous supporters to keep going. Every contribution makes a real difference—whether it’s your time, a donation, or practical help.
Here’s how you can support us right now:

Help with Shopping
We occasionally need help purchasing specific items that don’t come through donations—such as medical supplies, hygiene products, or special food items. If you’re able to help shop locally or online (with a provided list and budget), please let us know.

Volunteers Needed for Packing Heavy Items
We are currently looking for two reliable volunteers to help us pack boxes at our warehouse in Binningen.
● Parcels are heavy, so you need to be able to lift and carry
● We need help at least 2–3 hours at the time, minimum once a week
● This role requires consistency—not occasional help
If you or someone you know fits this description, we would be truly grateful.

Social Media & Awareness Support
Do you have a few hours a week to help us grow?
We need someone who can:
● Create and schedule posts for Instagram and Facebook
● Make short videos or reels (we provide all photos and footage)
● Help raise awareness and visibility for our projects
● Bring creative ideas for simple fundraising or storytelling

You don’t need to be a professional—just someone who wants to help. Your voice could help us reach hundreds more.

Recycling & Washing
Unfortunately, some donated items arrive in good condition but unwashed or items that we cannot use.
We need help with:
● Washing clothing and textiles before they are packed and sent
● Recycling unusable donations (e.g. damaged clothing or broken toys)

This behind-the-scenes work helps us maintain dignity and hygiene for those we support.
